Our Process

We understand that life is busy and beginning an Estate Plan is a big step. Planning your estate for your family is our top priority and our simple process is designed to ensure your peace of mind every step of the way.

Initial Complementary Consultation

Our initial Estate Planning consultation is completely complementary and confidential. Our only request is that you send our completed questionnaire back to us prior to your meeting.

During the initial meeting, we take time to get to know you, your concerns and goals, and learn about your family situation and assets. Our Attorneys will educate you on Estate Planning, the different methods available to plan for your scenario, and our processes to ensure that your planning is done in a complete and timely fashion.

Our Attorneys will provide you with options and a thorough Estate Plan design that is consistent with your goals. We understand the limits of a family budget and we will also discuss the range of fees. You will know exactly what your Estate Plan will cost before we do any work.

If you decide we are a good fit, we then draft a personally tailored, detailed, and comprehensive plan to ensure that your wishes would be carried out in the event of incapacity or death.

In most cases, please allow 1 hour for the initial meeting.

Second Meeting

During the second meeting, your drafted Estate Plan will be reviewed with you, and it will be signed, witnessed and notarized. We will ensure you leave our office with an in-depth understanding of your Estate Plan. If you have proceeded with a Trust, we will also sign documents to re-title your assets and guide you on the process of funding your Trust.

Please allow 1 hour for a Will signing appointment and 2 hours for a Trust signing appointment.

The Next Step

Approximately 1 week after signing the documents, our team will provide you with your customized Estate Plan and other ancillary documents. You will leave with all your original documents, as well as electronic copies.

We are always available to answer your questions and guide you on how to maintain your plan now that it has been established. We are also happy to enroll you in our complementary newsletters to help keep you informed and up to date on situations that may require revisions to your trust, changes in the law, and important issues that may affect you.
