Bob Nennig graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. After working for a time at a large public accounting firm in Milwaukee, and passing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam, Bob moved to Chicago, Illinois to attend law school.
Bob graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 1997. During law school, he was a law clerk for Commonwealth Edison and was also a law clerk in the Civil Litigation Division for the Wisconsin Department of Justice in Madison, Wisconsin. Upon graduation, Bob worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney at the Cook County State Attorney’s Office before later becoming an Associate attorney at the law firm of Chapman and Cutler, LLP.
Bob is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and focuses his practice in the area of Estate Planning and Estate and Trust Administration. His work includes the preparation of Wills, Testamentary Trusts, Revocable Living Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Memorial Wishes, and Marital Property Agreements. His practice also includes Wisconsin formal and informal probate, trust administration and guardianship matters.
Bob is a frequent speaker to companies, law firms, financial institutions, governmental and charitable entities on Estate Planning topics. He is also an active member of the Wisconsin Council of Estate Planning Attorneys, WealthCounsel, and the Advisor Forum.
Bob is very happily married and has two incredibly beautiful, funny, and intelligent daughters. He cherishes every special moment each day brings. He lives in Madison, enjoys spending time with friends, and is a former member of the Parkcrest Pool Board of Directors.
